Federal Mandate/Law On Voting Regulations

we need a law from the federal level that takes a lot of the organization out of the state level's hands.

for instance, we need laws saying that across the board certain machines can only be used. (approved by a bipartisan committee).

we need laws stating that there MUST be a voting location within every (insert number here) of population/feet or miles. (will eliminate unfair long lines in low income areas)

we need minimum early voting laws in place so its more uniform across the country on how early voting is used/allowed.

we need uniformity and equality amongst all states on how the voting process happens.

you're messing with the Constitution there. Some of that may not face muster against that old "piece of paper." Funny how strong Conserves seem to fight for the Constitution when it's something they like.

But I'd be all for it.

Though I like it.

I am not sure early voting is a big deal, as long as there is some vote by mail option. That is what I do. CA has permanent absentee status, been doing it for years.

I'll guarandamntee that voters in Naples, Fl are not waiting 9 hours to vote - or even 4 hours.

Why don't Dem leaders ever address this - they could have when they had the WH and both houses of Congress.

We need to have people in place that will prosecute these criminals for their wrongdoings. If the Secretary of State of Ohio gets away with what he has done, throwing away peoples filled out ballots, and nothing is done to him, it is a travesty. We also need a strong investigation into the nonprofit organizations that are telling their patrons who to vote for. The churches and other nonprofits doing this need to have their status removed and pay taxes. They are not above the law! For three years, the IRS has not furthered an investigation into the churches that have knowingly broken this bylaw of the nonprofit, tax exempt status outline. Prosecute the bastards.
