Chris Christie

I'm really intrigued by the Chris Christie situation.

Let's say Obama wins on Tuesday. The Tea Party Rethugs are going to be looking for a scapegoat and I think they're going to point to Christie. If they do Christie's got to know that he has no future with the thugs. Would he switch parties? Would he join the Obama administration? Am I off the deep end here?

4. Maybe he sees himself in a position to bring sanity back to the republican party.

I don't see him switching parties. The way I see it is that Christie has big ego and big dreams. He may see himself moving into a position where he forges ahead with an appeal to normalcy in the republican party and the wackos get pushed back into the dark corners where they belong.

Christie is still the same person. He still has the same liabilities he had before Sandy. I am not a Christie fan but I think, to his credit, he was shaken by the severity of the devastation and truly wants to do everything necessary to help his constituents. In that vein he credits Obama with assisting him in doing that.

Maybe he could point out that cooperation is the way to get things done, and open the way for moderate Republicans to not have their asses handed to them in 2014. Ya nevah know. Could happen.

There is a core of substance in the conservative mindset and I think that Christie embodies more conviction than any other Rethug I have seen in a very very long time.

Look for him to be paired with a new Republican rising star and they will redefine the party.

I think the Murdoch tweet was a huge miscalculation.

I want Christie to help drag the Republican party back from the edge.

an ad about the War on Coal. I am ready to pull what hair I have left if I hear or see another War on Coal sign. I think if Obama wins this everyone should send an e-mail to Murray Energy Corp. taunting that jackass Bob Murray about all the money he pissed down the drain on his War on Coal..
