The VT Dem Convention yesterday: All about supporting Bernie and nixing super delegates
Yeah, Hillary dreamers, the VT dem party is all about getting rid of Bernie. NOT. They're just so likely to run a dem against him- like NEVER. The number of hill fans telling me all about Vermont politics when they know nothing whatsoever about it, has been amusing, but time for you guys to stop embarrassing yourself.
Vt. Democrats Endorse Sanders At State Convention
Vermont Democrats gathered Sunday to plan for the National Convention in Philadelphia in July.
There was one man on everyones minds at the Vermont Democratic Party State Convention at the Barre Opera House.
Vermonters have always been enthusiastic about Bernie, said Dottie Deans, Vermont Democratic Party Chair.

In fact, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D - Presidential Candidate), received the entire conventions endorsement Sunday.
We did not know whether he was going to turn out to be Ben & Jerrys cookie dough ice cream that everyone could understand and appreciate, or whether he was going to be a maple creemee, you know, beloved at home but unknown beyond the borders, joked Bill McKibben, Sanders surrogate. (Yes, that Bill McKibben)

Sanders won 86% of the states vote on Super Tuesday.

State democrats overwhelmingly voted to support Bernie Sanders for president while calling for reform of the delegate process.
Several hundred people packed the Barre Opera House on Sunday for the Vermont Democratic Convention, which included the election of delegates to the national convention in July, as well as calling for a change to the Democratic Partys superdelegate system.
Vermont will send 26 delegates to the Democratic National Convention, including 16 pledged delegates and 10 superdelegates.
Of the 16 pledged delegates, all will be bound to vote for Sanders on the first ballot, a recognition that with 86 percent of the popular vote in the March primary Sanders is the only candidate to receive at least 15 percent of the vote, the threshold to win a Democratic delegate in Vermont.
Superdelegates, on the other hand, are free to support whoever they wish. In an expression of frustration among Sanders supporters with the Vermont superdelegate support for Hillary Clinton, convention attendees adopted a resolution calling for Vermonts superdelegates to offer their support based on the proportion of support the candidates received in the March primary.
