Burlington College to close under weight of debt

Founded in 1972 as an informal gathering of students, Burlington College grew into a small, regionally accredited liberal arts college. But financial strain and academic probation created by an ambitious but ill-fated expansion under then-President Jane Sanders onto a new campus on prime waterfront land led to the school's demise, officials said.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpost/paloma/daily-202/2016/05/17/daily-202-failure-of-burlington-college-is-a-big-problem-for-bernie-and-jane-sanders/573a388c981b92a22d837b46/?tid=hybrid_collaborative_1_na--

The Sanders campaign has ignored repeated requests for comment on Burlington College’s failure. The uncharacteristic silence is telling.

dollars lost to failed solar energy companies, billions of dollars paid out under the radar to Wall Street and the health insurance industry and many, many more. We were promised transparency and accountability and didn't get it and he gets very little criticism from our side for it. But if a business run by Hillary's opponent's wife fails, then the world is coming to an end if he is elected. Give me a break.

The perfect counter if and when Bernie brought up Trump's business failures and bankruptcies.
