They released a poll today that had Obama ahead by 8.

Still annoyed at reading this NBC poll though.

Their previous poll showed Obama only around (+1) in Wisconsin and showed Thompson (+1).

Then yesterday their poll showed Obama back to (+8) and Baldwin back to (+4).

Those are pretty dramatic swings from one poll to another.

Still, the trendline for Obama and Baldwin is good, regardless of some of the bouncing around.

But NH and Wisconsin are too close for comfort. Think there is another poll where Obama has a more comfortable lead in WI (think it was PPP?)

...still, I'm not pleased about a mere 3-point lead in ANY poll (which is probably within the margin of error). Wisconsin, in addition to Ohio, is a MUST-WIN state for us.

The margin of error is 3 points. I feel more comfortable with a 5 point lead especially with questionable vote stealing tactics. I'm surprised it's so close. Obama should be at least over 5 everywhere. Obama stopped the economic freefall, saved Detroit, positive job growth.

But at least the lead is in our favor. It equates to several thousand votes.

I do not know what I will do if ObamaCare is repealed. That is why I worry all the time about the pollls. I get attacked a lot here by DUer for always worrying about the polls but this election is very personal to me. It could mean life or death for my beautiful daughter.

...that we will do everything possible to protect the law in the event Republicans capture both the White House and the Senate. But let's hope this outrageous battle over health care reform will be put to bed once and for all next Tuesday.

I just donated some more $$ to the Obama Campaign to help with their GOTV efforts. You may want to consider doing the same. This is an investment in our lives and our children's lives.

Mainly, I dislike that WI has tightened in this poll over the last several weeks, and that was a post first-debate poll too. The same goes with NH.

But this is just one pollster. We've had three or four WI polls in the last day or two. All show Obama somewhere leading in WI between 3-8 points. The same goes with NH and IA. The key point is, Obama is most probable to take them all.

And of course, OH and NV as well. The VA numbers look good too.

I hate to be this optimistic, but I'm thinking his floor may be 281 now (and that's not even counting VA). With VA, it's 294. CO is alright too except for a poll earlier showing Obama down by one.

Here's to 300+!

Not as good for Baldwin as yesterday's Marquette poll, but at least it's a lead. The odds are still in her favor according to Nate Silver.

About 10 days ago polls had rmoney in the lead. Now Obama is back in front. I think BO will get NH, get Wisky, Iowa, NV, OH, PA and hold serve elsewhere and call it a day.

Yea, would LOVE to get NC, VA, FLA, CO, etc...and I think we can grab 1 or 2 of those, but the main focus is keeping the right guy at 1600.
