Did the Sanders voters nominate an "establishment" candidate by voting for a Berniecrat?

I was honestly surprised at the outcome of the PA-Senate Primary, where the former Chief of Staff to Gov Wolf Katie McGinty, whose campaign was chaired by former Gov. Ed Rendell, beat Joe Sestak by 10 points. Sestak wasn't notably more progressive, but was seen as the "anti-establishment" choice by going against the Party and defeating Republican-turned-Democrat Arlen Specter in 2010. McGinty benefited from an endorsement by President Obama and VP Biden, and had been gaining in recent polls, but I didn't expect her lead to be this big. What I REALLY didn't expect was that John Fetterman, Braddock Mayor and avowed "Berniecrat" would get almost 20% of the vote; in the last polls I saw, he was down at 4%. I can't help but wonder if Sanders voters went downticket to Fetterman, and in so doing shaved votes away from Sestak.
