Clinton's Internet Troll Campaign Against Bernie Sanders Is A New Low

A political organization supporting Hillary Clinton is planning to take on Bernie Sanders, one social media account at a time. Twitter, Facebook, and others might soon get even nastier if that’s still possible for the 2016 election cycle.

Correct the Record, a hybrid-PAC supporting Clinton, announced a task force called Barrier Breakers 2016. The purpose is to “correct” online commentary, according to the announcement.

“While Hillary Clinton fights to break down barriers and bring America together, the Barrier Breakers 2016 digital task force will serve as a resource for supporters looking for positive content and push-back to share with their online progressive communities, as well as thanking prominent supporters and committed superdelegates on social media.”

It goes on to explain that the task force will be staffed with “former reporters, bloggers, public affairs specialists, designers, Ready for Hillary alumni, and Hillary super fans” ready to push back against Clinton’s attackers on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram.

Or as the New York Daily News explained, the group is “an online mob of paid trolls designed to attack any and every person who says one cross word about Hillary Clinton on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, or elsewhere.”

The political group says it has put $1 million behind its fight for the comments section. Bernie Sanders campaign has said they’ve spent approximately $0 for online commentary so far.

Have many indications. Including felonious activity regarding vote counts.

No matter what we say, you would say it was not "proof" so all I can say is that if what is happening to Bernie was happening to Hillary, Bernie would be facing charges.

BTW, fellow Bernie supporters, here is the skinny on what to do if you think things are being "adjusted" away from Bernie and for HRC:

Justice.org continues to collect affidavits in an effort to document our cause for election changes, with both immediate and long term goals and they are seeking our help. You can and should report violations to the Sanders Campaign : Bernie wants you to call 347-379-4298 FIRST!!!
That's Bernie's Voter Protection Hotline
and/or e-mail [email protected] but do not stop there, report also to Justice.org.
In the days leading up to and throughout Election Day, Civil Rights Division staff members will also be available by telephone to receive complaints from citizens in all states and jurisdictions nationwide related to possible violations of the federal voting rights laws (toll free 1-800-253-3931 or 202-307-2767) or TTY (202-305-0082). In addition, individuals may also report such complaints by fax to 202-307-3961, by email to [email protected] and by a complaint form on the department’s website: www.justice.gov/crt/about/vot/.

And for quite a while, it looked like they were right. Then came that glorious day in August of 1974 when the helicopter took off from the White House lawn.

Anyway, as long as reports keep popping up, I will remain firmly convinced that HRC should be indicted not only for her release and discussion of classified material, but also for her letting Brock do things such as are detailed in this article:

Theories on Sanders’s primary subreddit and Facebook pages quickly popped up, accusing Hillary Clinton supporters of a coordinated effort with a SuperPAC to report the Sanders pages for threats of violence and child pornography until the pages went down.

Some news organizations appeared to back some of the theories.

...

But Facebook—and now even the affected pro-Sanders groups themselves—say that the real problem was merely a database error that affected more pages than just Sanders-leaning community pages.

Who has consistently lied on just about every policy matter she has ever participated in, from her vote on the IWR, her views on Fracking, her ties to Wall Street, etc.

And not only that, she is being investigated by the FBI for a release or discussion of classified materials that she should not have shared with Blumenthal. Indictment could very well be part of her future.

IF the stench of Hillary's lies doesn't bother them (I guess the money is pretty good) then why should it surprise us that child pornography got planted.

It clearly was Hillary supporters -- HillaryBros, if you will -- who proceeded to brag about it on Twitter.

Facebook has acknowledged what happened -- a concerted attack on Bernie-supporting pages.

Sanders has taken heat for months for what his supporters, his "BernieBros" are supposedly guilty of.

Hillary's turn.

And it is not like this doesn't happen to other groups. A group I belong to on religion gets spammed with porn all the time.

There are creepy people out there.

Claiming CTR did it without proof is not right.

Until someone finds the job app for getting money for sharing out the countermemes CTR has created and distributed to vocal Hillary supporters encouraging them to share, I can't believe this announcement was suggesting anything other than they're spending another million on things they've been doing for ages.

Aka, spam Hillary's supporters inboxes with "OMG Brocky, look at that article. It is SO bad. It's like those GOP guys. I love Hillary and I can't lie...."

... I have missed it, but if you have the time, I'd be grateful.

I'd also appreciate any proof that Correct the Record is associated with the site that claimed responsibility for those attacks against groups supporting Bernie.

Remember that in the world where this ad wasn't from Bernie but instead a GOP-funded PAC, as was this one seemingly attacking Bernie, I have little trust for people doing things that just damage Democrats being actual Democrats.

107. Statement from B4H Leadership
Tue Apr 26, 2016, 05:08 PM
Apr 2016

Bros4Hillary (B4H) was created as a way to provide a positive and supportive community for supporters of Hillary Clinton to gather, and as a direct response to the hateful and divisive rhetoric used by other campaigns during this election cycle. Our mission statement is about inclusiveness and tolerance, and we pride ourselves on our diverse membership and the unity through diversity we aim to achieve. We have not and do not approve of or condone harmful or offensive rhetoric or harassing behavior targeting supporters of any other candidate in the race. We have repeatedly and officially condemned such words and behaviors.

Last night, a former member by the name of Casey Champagne decided to engage in harassing behavior toward Facebook groups of Bernie Sanders and posted about it in the B4H Facebook group. As stated above, this was not promoted or supported by the leadership of B4H, nor were we immediately aware of this conduct. We removed the offending posts and member as soon as possible. While our leadership team of administrators tries to catch every questionable post and comment, with over 7,000 members and on a 24-hour posting cycle, some fall through the cracks. We rely on members to “flag and report” harmful, offensive, or trolling behavior, and apologize to the groups that were affected. This member acted on his own authority, is not a part of our leadership team, and does not represent our ideals or our opinions.

To wit: Bros4Hillary is NOT defunct, as reported today by the DailyKos. We temporarily changed our privacy settings after being flooded by online attacks from external members who were upset by Mr. Champagne’s behavior. We will go “live” again shortly and are excited about what is to come. We are growing every day. Our members have made over 20,000 calls across the United States, raised thousands of dollars, and are now apart of creating a ground campaign in California. We thank all of our members for their incredible contributions and regret that the actions of a few would spoil the work of the many. Any media inquiries regarding this incident or any other Bros4Hillary content may be made to: [email protected]. Thank you.

It's too funny. And the slander against Hillary has been spewed unabated on reddit for months now. The place is literally a sewer that's been taken over by Bernie and Trump trolls. It's amazing that a group even considered to fight back against what seems like an insurmountable object.

social media. There's nothing you can do about the crazy and ignorant except to encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to register to vote and then vote. Not just in 2016 but every two years. Most voters understand HRC is the MOST qualified candidate ad we're so lucky that she will be the DEM nominee. She will help us take back the House and Senate, maybe some gov ships and state houses. This election is really EVERYTHING. If HRC wasn't your first choice, lick your wounds and let's keep it moving. We're gonna need everyone out there doing their part.

if the only way to win is to drown out the truth, then it is the only way to rule. Leadership inspires and empowers people to support them, while rulership rewards those who are willing to follow right or wrong.
