Hillary Clinton uses static noise machine to prevent reporters from hearing her fundraiser speech

FYI This was reported by a reporter in Denver: https://twitter.com/stanbushtv/status/718229050028879872

It was for a fundraiser at the Governor's house.

edit: some additional context:

Check videos in my timeline. It was a large speaker pointed out into the street.

29. A little rallying cry from the reddit thread I found this on...
Thu Apr 7, 2016, 11:48 PM
Apr 2016
The truth is simple: During the first two weeks of April, Clinton has scheduled more than 20 of these high-dollar fundraisers.

Why?

Total raised in direct contributions to each campaign, until March 31st:
--Bernie Sanders: $182,195,654
--Hillary Clinton: $176,503,224

Plain and simple. HFA is desperate.

Clinton's billionaire-backed campaign is being out-fundraised by "millennials" who "don't research". Last month she spend nearly $33M and only brought in $29.5M, and as we enter the most expensive media markets in the country, she's dumping in $900,000 worth of ad buys, in her home-state, where she's supposed to be cruising, with wide poll margins. Well, those margins are closing, and we can very well run her dry out of cash.

She needs to rely on big-money events like this one just to stay afloat, whereas we are changing the game altogether. She's gotta resort to hiding her speeches to rich donors by blasting static noise, while Bernie speaks openly of the change we need.
We have to out-spend Clinton in New York and we have to continue out-fundraising her in order to do so. Please pitch in $5 to Bernie. No fuzz. The Political Revolution speaks loudly and clearly.

Also on the reddit thread they are contacting the reporter to see if he will give them the full speech to see if they can remove the static from the video.

Is now some sort of incomprehensible voodoo science to you? After nearly 20 years in production, I can assure you that this isn't Sci fi. Noise cancellation has been around for a long time. And white noise is something you can induce with any program used to tune a PA.

In other words, every sound person you've ever met has something to induce white noise in their proverbial tool box.

She's so overly concerned for secrecy about her talks to her donors, but was completely unconcerned about security for the State Department's communications and records that were her responsibility. Isn't that odd?

There are small devices for a room or office that will prevent people from hearing anything through a door, but do you people, seriously think that there are devices that can be mounted around an open area to generate "white noise" and prevent anyone not within the "Safe zone" or whatever from hearing?

This is truly wacky day on the DU, the youtube user either has a p.o.s. microphone or is joe jobbing you all deliberately to make Camp Sanders look foolish (note how comments on the video ares disabled), and so far, it is kinda working.

The concept of a directional speaker is pretty simple...
http://www.ultrasonic-audio.com/products/acouspade.html

But this isn't anything more special than a bunch of speakers pointed toward the perimeter blasting a white noise sound... There is nothing complicated here. You need to read up on signal noise ratio and why this works. If the other sounds (her speech) are far enough away from the speaker then the white noise can mask the audio enough to be inaudible.

"White noise" does not "blast". If the person is that far away from the speech, they wouldn't hear anything anyways. There is no such device that will mask an outdoor speech. Period. Seriously, what do they teach in schools these days?

She can be a bit of a gaffe machine at times. That's why they want the transcripts so bad. Still the idea she is telling the banksters all the things she is going to do for them and against the common man in return for their speaking fees is silly - if they think they will find something like that, they are nuts. They might find something to twist - though why they'd need to know what is in these speeches - don't they realize they have plenty of public utterances to tear into as exaggerate into ridiculousness?
