TODAY Interview with Hillary to Air Tomorrow - Bernie Qualified?

Here's the title from today's teaser for the show, along with a few other quotes:

Hillary Clinton on TODAY: Bernie Sanders' comments about my qualifications are 'silly'

Hillary Clinton described Bernie Sanders as "silly" for repeatedly asserting she is not qualified to serve as president and told TODAY in an exclusive interview that voters will have the final say.

"That will be up to the voters of New York and the other states that will be passing judgment in the weeks ahead," the Democratic front-runner told TODAY's Matt Lauer. "I think it's kind of a silly statement. But he's free to say whatever he chooses. "

snip....

"Here's what I believe. I believe that voters will be looking at both of us," she said. "But I will take Bernie Sanders over Donald Trump or Ted Cruz anytime."

Sounds to me like she's saying he is qualified.

I'll be working when this airs tomorrow, so I won't see the entire interview.

There's a battle for the nomination. Do you expect praise from one candidate for the other? Really?

Anyhow, she did provide some praise for Bernie. The quote is in the OP.

But, if you're throwing up big in your mouth, you might want to seek some medical attention. That doesn't sound good.

Never really says what she means.

I wish she'd just lay it out there. It must be terribly frustrating for her supporters that she hides so much and twists her words.

She said she thought what Bernie said was silly, and then followed up with a statement saying he'd be a far better President than either of the Republican leading candidates.

For pete's sake...what do you want her to say more than that. Did you even read my brief OP?

That's what we have been saying all along.

It must be terribly frustrating for her supporters that she doesn't say even half the nasty crap said in her name on DU. Of course she can't, heck, she can't even tell the truth about how bad she has gone down in the polls and is losing support.

That doesn't explain how this all started though...

"But I will take Bernie Sanders over Donald Trump or Ted Cruz anytime."

If she actually believed that Bernie's qualified why the 3 dodges without answering with that quote above?

HRC floats these 'baits' out there so when and if the opposition takes that 'bait' she can cry foul...

complete political expediency and allowing room to 'explain it away' as if she wasn't 'baiting the hook'

she's a disgrace

During this interview, Matt Lauer asked Hillary Clinton, "Do you think that Bernie Sanders is qualified to be President?" Hillary refused to answer the question. She didn't say, "Yes" or "No."

She spent most of her day yesterday, suggesting that Bernie wasn't a Democrat. Her surrogates were all over the place discussing how inept he was. Her campaign publicly released that they would launch a new campaign against him. Their specific words were that this campaign was "destroy and disqualify."

Disqualify.

That's the prevailing theme that the Clinton camp launched.

Bernie has the RIGHT to defend himself. He has the right to answer all of this.

She is continuing today with the same games. She didn't answer that question..."Is Bernie Sanders qualified to be President."

Answering that she would prefer Bernie over two men who she has criticized in extremely negative terms, is not an affirmative.

Please...do not suggest that she is not playing games. She clearly is.

She did this with Obama in 08, when someone asked her if Obama was a Muslim. She wouldn't answer Y/N. She said that she, "took him at his word."

This has been done before.
