I haven't heard anybody talk about Hillary Clinton in regards to offshore accounts yet.

looks like trying out a defense to me. By the way all offshore bank accounts and investments have to be reported to the US government every year.

The problem is when one does not report them to the US government every year. Also not reporting ones total income from all sources even offshore bank accounts or investments is a big IRS violation.

It seems like they are a Clinton operative testing out new lines of defense for the impending release of American data from the Panama Papers.

I have a Mongolian savings account myself. I am in fact a many times multimillionaire in tugrik terms. All not just legal but perfectly transparent. What I don't have is a shell company set up there or anyone else to funnel income and expenses through. I'm just getting a bit more than the fractional interest rates of US banks, at the risk of currency devaluation.

How many Canadians/Mexicans who live/work in the US and have bank accounts in their home countries are some of the world's most powerful people said to have used offshore bank accounts to conceal their wealth or avoid taxes?

Just because I felt bad this had no recs. I guess not even the most ardent HRC supporters like offshore bank accounts.

that will look very bad.

In the mean time, are you seriously comparing immigrants working 2-3 jobs to send money to their bank at home for the benefit of their family, to people who stash millions in a shell company?
