Clinton rallies supporters

COHOES — Thousands of Capital Region voters braved the cold and snow Monday to hear Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speak at Cohoes High School.

The line outside the school snaked across the campus as the Clinton faithful tried to gain admission to the event, which packed the school’s gymnasium.

Clinton hoped to shore up support among Democratic voters in anticipation of the party’s April 19 primary vote, when Clinton will face off against her opponent, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, whose supporters held a rally of their own in Albany Monday.

A who’s who of local Democratic leaders opened the event, extolling Clinton’s virtues, urging her supporters to head to the polls and encourage others to do the same.

Everybody knows that the US presidency is passed down to either spouse or son. That is how one earns the coronation of POTUS.

Or not.

Go Bernie!
