(41,832 posts)Milwaukee is 40% African-American. Now if you mean the white suburbs, then possibly it could help Sanders.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS
Blatantly racist.
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Tue Apr 5, 2016, 08:12 AM, and the Jury voted 0-7 to LEAVE IT.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: How is this racist? I don't know if it's true or not, but even if false, it's not racist. It is a fact that African Americans tend to favor Clinton, especially older AAs.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's an opinion. That's all. I disagree with it's angle, but its not alert worthy. Whoever alerted on it should just stick to writing a reply refuting it. Don't waste the time of me and other jurors.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Racist? No. Statement of fact. To date, the election has partially unfolded along racial lines.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Huh?
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: The possible differences in support among Democrats by race have been an endless topic for discussion. Has that all been 'racist'? No.

(36,063 posts)and campuses here carry bad memories of the June recall election that disenfranchised students. Students had problems as the 28 day residency requirement tripped them up, consequently the GOTV drives on campuses have stressed early voting.
I'm interested in seeing how turnout is for inner city precincts. A lot of community effort has been spent in those areas preparing to deal with the voter ID law.

(53,032 posts)Madison and rural areas favor Sanders. The electoral trends established through previous primaries will likely hold in WI as well. IIRC, suburbs tend to favor Clinton, while exurbs favor Sanders.
