(14,177 posts)Upchuck Todd and some other white guy, said that Romney can still win. I LOL'd. Romney lost this election at "Please proceed, Governor."

(336 posts)He lost it with the $10,000 bet.
He lost it with the Ryan pick.
He lost it at the RNC.
He lost it with the Libya showboating.
He lost it with the 47% remark.
He does all this and he's still in it. Obama has one bad night and his polls collapse. What's it all about?

(12 posts)Why? Because the economy still really sucks for many, many Americans... and the President made economic promises the first time around that he was unable to keep. It doesn't matter that the economy would have been a downer for any president... it is just reality.

Has not brought all the troops home, he has not closed gitmo and the deficit has doubled and not cut in half, 3 things he promised he would do before he got elected last time.
That is what is really hurting him.

(5,764 posts)The deficit is DOWN. He inherited 1.3 Trillion. Don't spout that right wing fiction about it doubling in here.

(116,464 posts)The poll, released Friday, shows an eight-point reversal and a four-point increase for Romney. Last month, he trailed Obama by 44-49 percent (September 16-18, 2012).

Consider this: Obama tops Romney by one percentage point among women now, down from a 19-point edge last month. And Romney has extended his advantage among married women to 13 points, up from a seven-point edge.

What's that a 49-point swing?
Guess women weren't the biggest shift.
