Elizabeth Warren: ‘I’m STILL CHEERING Bernie On,’

~snip~

On Thursday, when asked if Bernie Sanders should drop out of the race, Warren praised the Democratic senator from Vermont. Sanders has echoed Warren’s criticism of Wall Street and rising student load debt more than any other candidate.

‘‘He’s out there. He fights from the heart. This is who Bernie is,’’ Warren said. ‘‘He has put the right issues on the table both for the Democratic Party and for the country in general so I’m still cheering Bernie on.’’

Warren declined to say which candidate she voted for in the Massachusetts primary. She said she plans to make an endorsement, but not yet. She said either Sanders or Hillary Clinton would be a far better president than the Republican candidates — pointing to the ongoing health care debate.

‘‘While the Democrats are saying, ‘Gee is the right answer to improve the Affordable Care Act in the following six ways or go all the way to single payer’ — which is a good debate to have — the Republicans are saying they are going to repeal the Affordable Care Act and replace it with something they can’t quiet describe,’’ she said.

Warren’s comments follow a burst of tweets she sent out Monday, calling Trump a loser and faulting him for ‘‘petty bullying, attacks on women, cheap racism, flagrant narcissism.’’

aways was her disgust at having to spend soooo much time just raising money. She hates doing that and it was (I thought earlier) that would be one of the biggest distinctions for her to endorse Bernie. But she didn't and MA was basically a tie. End Citizens United. No super pacs....not going to hold my breath because I have been vastly disappointed in our new lobbyist, Howard Dean. You never know....

This is the point that the Sanders camp need to not gloss over and pretend she didn't say.

And she never will!!

Anyone with half a hemisphere that is still attached would be able to read the many refused all-women senator invites that Liz snubbed Hillary with more than once.......call it whatever makes you feel better....it is what it is......she reads Hillary no different than DU Bernie supporters on these boards read Hillary......she just has to be more toned-down, senatorial and parse & mince each of her words carefully.......

It would take A LOT for any dem who wasn't already repub-lite to support her.

Silencing all that cognitive dissonance must be very difficult.

I have no doubt, based on policy positions, that she's on Bernie's side. But I have no objection to her treading carefully towards what will likely be a post-convention endorsement of whoever ends up the nominee. I'd rather have her remain effective...and that means avoiding the Clinton shitlist.

One the big political disappointments for me, right up there with candidate Obama not being the real Obama.

She could bring our party back to the FDR party with presidential clout. Maybe its still possible, but if Hillary is the nom its doubtful. We'll continue to be the Wall Street corporate party pretending to be for people during campaign season.

And then in 4 years succeed Bernie as the first woman President after serving as the first woman Vice President?

Man, the thought of that makes the hairs on the back of my head stand straight up!
I think I just solved a Rubic's cube of politics just now!!
