Last night – the media didn’t just give Donald Trump air time over Sanders – they gave air time to an empty podium that had “TRUMP” plastered across it – instead of letting viewers hear Senator Sanders speak. Katrina vanden Heuvel, The Nation Magazine joins Thom Hartmann.

Would the media have treated candidate Martin O'Malley in the same (exclusionary) manner as they've demonstrated with Bernie? Would they have dismissed Martin in the same manner if he was producing identical polling stats with millennials and generating large crowd excitement as Bernie has done?

To Hillary a few primaries back. They had the podium up whole time she was talking and just had nothing of her speech showing

They are looking out for their own interests.

Progressives need to be more aggressive if they want to be heard.
