Obama. Please don't say these things...

We both want what's best for America...

No matter who is elected, this country will be okay...

I have no doubt that Gov. Romney is a good man...

This is something we both agree upon...

I agree that we have to...

Things could be better...

Also, I'd like to hear about emergency contraception as part of the whole abortion/women's rights issue... how many RR supporters out there also oppose a woman's right to emergency contraception (especially after a rape). Do they even understand what emergency contraception is in that situation?

And if/when abortion/religion comes up... I'd like to hear Obama say something like "it's interesting that some people think I'm a muslim, when I am a proud Christian and that many people think my opponent is a catholic or christian when he is actually a mormon." That would be an interesting firestorm...

Upon further reflection, I agree. It's just so lame that 30% of repubs think he's muslim and hold it against him. There are pastors trying to get out the vote for the christian candidate (romney)... And then there's the "vote American" signs supporting RR... shameful.

Replying to my own post. Oh Well...

I thought I heard that as a mormon, romney would have to do whatever his elders/leaders say no matter what... How would that float with the American public? Hmmm.. Executive order to declare America a Mormon country perhaps?

Do you want an open forum on whose religion is more ____________ (fill in the blank)

That is why it has not come up.
I hope Obama has no religion-but as long as he says he does, it is a non-starter as a talking point or debate topic.

If people are voting against O because he's muslim and voting for R because he's christian, I think it's important. Sadly, that's what some people are concerned with.

However, though, the Prez himself did admit that he was a little too soft on Mitt so I think he'll try to step up. At the very least, we can expect that RMoney will have some potentially gaffable moments. I mean, come on, he did it all the time back in the summer and who expects him to be immune now?

There are plenty of soundbites from the likes of Newt and Santorum where they say you can't trust Romney. I think the best course is for Obama and all supporters to run with the line that Romney just can't be trusted with anything he says.

In conversations and interviews by Dem's, I'd like to hear this over and over again:

You just can't trust him...
Yeah, but you can you trust him?
Hmmm.. but can you really trust him?
Most people are worried that they just can't trust him...
I heard Newt saying how he can't be trusted...
Really? You really trust him? I dunno...
Lots of people are concerned that they can't trust him...
