How are Obama, Biden, Romney and Ryan doing in their home states?

Last edited Tue Oct 16, 2012, 10:38 AM - Edit history (1)

Based on current RCP averages

Obama +15 in IL and +32 in HI
Biden +5 in PA, leading in DE by a wide margin (no polls on RCP)

Romney -17.4 in CA, -4.4 in MI, -20.4 in MA, NH -0.5, +42 in UT
Ryan - 2.3 in WI

Seriously. I think this says a lot. One ticket is beloved by their constituents at home and the other clearly is NOT.

Seems to me he's a nomad who isn't particularly liked anywhere he's taken up temporary residence with the exception of Utah.

Certainly another home state for Romney, as he spent more time there than in MA when he was governor.
