after several weeks of Romney leading in averages of national polls, Obama is now back up ahead of Romney.

So hopefully that Romney lead will disappear soon too. (Maybe today if Obama goes up in Gallup and/or Rasmussen).

Obama is +14 in the latest poll from Maine, although it was completed before the first debate.

Karl Rove's pollster claims Romney is close in Maine, so perhaps that's what Morning Joe is referring to.

7. Romney only had 5 or 6 days in the "lead" depending on what poll you looked at

he never led before last week and his lead was gone before the weekend.

once this election is over, no one will ever remember that romney had a slim
lead for a few days. no one.
