Clinton: I’m the ‘most transparent public official in modern times’

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/271879-clinton-im-most-transparent-public-official-in-modern

Hillary Clinton says she's the "most transparent" public official of modern times, slamming critics of her email practices in a new interview.

“I said, ‘make them all public,’” she said of her State Department emails on CNBC’s "Closing Bell" on Friday. "I’ve been the most transparent public official in modern times as far as I know.

I agree. I can see right through her. Not so much about the tired old emails , but about her neoliberal Turd Way policies.

Transparent? In a manner of speaking...yes. Not in the way you mean however. Ironically, that you would say you are transparent in the sense of honesty and forthright demeanour, and claim some moral superiority in the process, while lying with such practiced and staged conviction...is a perfect example of how transparent your true nature is...

My jaw literally hit the floor! And the "as far as I know" is a classic liar's tell and slick lawyer's qualifier, just in case evidence surfaces to prove other than what they've testified to.

I mean, give me a fucking break! Transparent? This from the person who "lost" the subpoenaed records of her Rose law firm billing records for TWO YEARS?!?! Only to have them mysteriously turn up in the White House living quarters with HER fingerprints on them?

http://www.nytimes.com/1996/01/06/us/elusive-papers-of-law-firm-are-found-at-white-house.html
http://www.nytimes.com/1996/06/05/us/hillary-clinton-s-fingerprints-among-those-found-on-papers.html

And this from the woman who as a law school graduate (albeit unlicensed and unadmitted to any bar), stole and hid records from the members of the Watergate investigating committee?

Hillary wrote a fraudulent legal brief, and confiscated public documents to hide her deception.

The brief involved precedent for representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding. When Hillary endeavored to write a legal brief arguing there is no right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding, Zeifman says, he told Hillary about the case of Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas, who faced an impeachment attempt in 1970.

“As soon as the impeachment resolutions were introduced by (then-House Minority Leader Gerald) Ford, and they were referred to the House Judiciary Committee, the first thing Douglas did was hire himself a lawyer,” Zeifman said.

The Judiciary Committee allowed Douglas to keep counsel, thus establishing the precedent. Zeifman says he told Hillary that all the documents establishing this fact were in the Judiciary Committee’s public files. So what did Hillary do?

Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public,” Zeifman said. Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding – as if the Douglas case had never occurred.

And from the woman who hid from even her closest friends and associates FOR DECADES, the fact that she failed to pass the D.C. bar exam?

To quote Jon Lovitz/SNL character, "Yeah, that's the truth!"

22 Clinton Emails Deemed Too Classified to Be Made Public
By STEVEN LEE MYERSJAN. 29, 2016

WASHINGTON — The State Department on Friday said for the first time that “top secret” material had been sent through Hillary Clinton’s private computer server, and that it would not make public 22 of her emails because they contained highly classified information.

***snip***

Emails previously released by the State Department have been redacted because they were deemed to contain information that should not be made public. But the 22 top secret emails are the first to be withheld entirely.
