Though I would hate to lose her as my senator.

I fear Hillary, if elected, will make it MUCH harder for another woman to get elected in the future. She has demonstrated time and again that she has bad judgement. Ans she has made electing her BECAUSE she's a woman a centerpiece of her campaign. Thus, when she screws up, and I believe she will often, it will make it easy for some to say "See, that's why women shouldn't be POTUS."

I spoke factually and used wording to have the greatest impact. I did so in part, to exemplify my anger at what I felt was unfair evasive actions. In part to shame the members of a certain group for what I think is a gross over reaction to challengers.

Defend Hillary if you want to, I wasn't banned by her. For a number of reasons, I don't think she is the best choice for the Democratic nominee for President. In an attempt to get clarification I was ousted by the local experts on Ms. Clinton.

Having taught semantics quite often over the years, I did get your point, but just couldn't resist calling you out a bit. I HATE how conservatives have made use of word choice to sway and attach negative reactions as their own ploy. Just heard a woman on air today (missed her name)complaining that Democrats fall into their trap every time. They make "liberal" a bad word, Dems start using "progressive,"etc. And they've sure done a great hatchet job on "socialist." Liberals have never fought back with the fact that the U.S. LOVES them some socialism. Someone also suggested Bernie call himself an FDR Socialist. Sadly the generation left to understand what that means is starting to dwindle.

If they can continue the illusion that this is all just a game adults are allowed to play in, then it's all fair, right?

It's getting to the point that those quotes from Secretary Clinton aren't merely getting laughed at, they're seen as evidence of a deep disconnect that corresponds to a contempt for the rules as they apply to her.

We'll see this issue addressed, and very soon, imo. The transcripts can't be so terrible that if the media unites in demanding them, they still don't get released.

Why take the additional hit from being so reluctant?

Ice cream has a demonstrable physiological effect that can be evaluated and measured. The influence of money, however, is psychological and cannot be measured objectively (although one can draw whatever conclusions he pleases). Mrs Clinton's stance is obviously that she is above such petty concerns. Which is why she treats such questions with contempt. It is not fear, it is disgust that she should be expected to address allegations of impropriety.
