Why would Sanders lobby Clyburn for an endorsement after Clyburn publicly asserted.....

..... (falsely, apparently) that "he (i.e. Clyburn) would remain neutral until AFTER his state's .....primary vote."? (emphasis added)

>>>>Clyburn endorsed front-runner Hillary Clinton last week, though he had previously said he would remain neutral until after his state's first-in-the-South primary vote. Neither candidate had actively lobbied him in public, but Clinton had said she would welcome the endorsement when the time came.

Sanders "never asked me for an endorsement, and so I never considered giving one," Clyburn said of the senator from Vermont.>>>>

If Bill Clinton could call the guy at 2AM...I mean...why does Bernie think of himself as so "special" and willing to be respectful of people?

I'll add for clarification.

Sanders should have *assumed* Clyburn wasn't telling the truth when he said he wouldn't endorse before the primary?

And Clinton gets *credit* because she somehow intuited that Clyburn's no endorsement pledge was bullshit and that he really wanted to be "lobbied"?

Needless to say... I find the thought processes of these people hard to follow.

Maybe that's why they threw me out.
