which means she doesn't understand a major portion of technology of the past century and this century and why her words in the past matter and go viral

About that cloth hillary ?

Clinton not knowing what ''going viral '' meant

Poor Hillary Clinton; first she didn’t know how to work a fax machine, then she didn’t know how to email from a computer, and now on Tuesday she seemed to admit she doesn’t know what “going viral” means.

The anecdote comes to us courtesy of The New York Times.

When a voter approached her at a polling station at Parker Varney School in Manchester, N.H., on Tuesday to ask for a picture, he explained that his friend had taken a selfie with the former first lady on Monday and he was jealous because the shot “went viral.”

“You went viral?” Mrs. Clinton said to the man’s friend. “That sounds like some kind of disease.”

The use of the word “viral” to describe fast-spreading content dates back to the dawn of the Internet Age. The idiom “gone viral” was used by Newsweek in a 1999 article, for example.

and become assumptions or givens. Then...the media and pollsters announce that this is the way the public feels, as though they didn't have something to do with it.

...It's like when Cheney fed misinformation to the NYT and then quoted the NYT article as evidence for his argument.

...It's like when the public option initially had the support of 70% of the public prior to the gop pissing all over it for years until the polls eventually reflected the meme of disfavor...now the gop gets to say that the public is against the ACA and any govt health care support because some polls say that.

There's a reason for media consolidation and for corporate media ownership. It's much easier for pundits and journalists to just refer to the meme and the drama than it is to point out the actual facts (especially when it serves the policy purposes of the corporate owners). It's good TV, good ratings, to hang simple characterizations around the necks of public figures rather than confuse viewers with shades of gray.

No...I don't believe Clinton is especially dishonest or untrustworthy because I hope I'm not a low information voter and I've looked into issues and have decided for myself if having a private email server at that time is tantamount to crime, misdemeanor, poor judgement, or dishonesty....and have decided for myself if she lied or not...and have decided for myself whether or not the tens of thousands of released emails are remarkable for what they reveal or if they are remarkable for LACK of much of interest. I see her give speeches and participate in debates and I don't see dishonesty or lack of authenticity. Just don't.

Having said that, I also see that Bernie is above reproach in those regards. Amazing, genuine person and politician. I've been listening to his brunch with bernie hours for years and IMO he's a terrific person, a great mind, straightforward, and I'm not sure I've ever heard anything on the issues that I would disagree with.

Both are good people, IMO. One is a better primary candidate than the other. One is probably more ready for the ugly world of the general election and governing than the other. But both are good people. IMHO.

Mon Feb 22, 2016, 07:26 PM

When she does it and the media exposes it? That helps spread the word. But they can't spread the word unless she's really lied.

There are 340 videos on Youtube addressing her lying and a bunch more on her flip-flops. It's a staggering collection.

And these lies are usually demonstrated by playing a clip before showing her saying one thing followed by a clip after showing her contradicting what she just said in the prior clip.Hillary exposing Hillary leaves no one to blame but Hillary.

Now you might holler "CONTEXT!!" and may have a point on a few. But the volume is too immense to dismiss it.

I kind of covered this here

Red America will crawl across broken glass and through fire to VOTE AGAINST HILLARY CLINTON.

I live in blood red Maricopa County (Joe Arapio, anyone?), in blood red Arizona. When you mention Bernie Sanders, people are willing to listen, maybe ask a question or two. When you mention Hillary... their faces contort and flush with anger, they fling spittle from their almost-rabid mouths as they violently spit out the words Hillary Clinton.

By hook and by crook (emphasis on "the crook&quot , Hillary Clinton will most likely be the Democrats nominee for the Presidency. She has the party's elite and faithful working overtime to pave the way for her gucci'd feet. But, she is unelectable in the general election. FAR TOO MANY NEGATIVES.

She has received zero negative campaigning from Sanders on the FBI situation. Zero negative campaigning from either Obama or Sanders on the Bosnia sniper fire situation. Zero negative campaigning from Sanders on the Clinton Foundation donations while she was Secretary of State. The GOP will not hold back on these subjects at all.

...But I don't think she is nationally electable. Her negatives are way too high with too many people.

But we certainly can't let a little problem like national unelectability sway the Good Ship Clinton from it's rightful course, now can we? After all, it is Hill's turn, and Bill and Hill have their "Date with Destiny." Gosh I long for the good ol' days when Bill's "Date with Destiny" was a stripper he picked up in an Arkansas roadhouse.
