(436 posts)2. The poll has 7 days, not 3
His approval rating is measured in the last 3 days. The tracking poll is a "7-day rolling average." Please adjust title accordingly.

(645 posts)3. regardless of how long the tracking is if Romney had gotten a truely large bump
we would see it START to form.
I think Romney probably ends up +1 or 2 for a week.

(4,551 posts)5. But Romney is only getting a minor bump so far
And on top of that isn't Obama going to get a bump from the HUGE news today about the 7.8% unemployment rate and the Dow being at a 5-year high?
Why would Romney end up ahead?
jenmito
(37,326 posts)6. In Gallup's poll, Romney is getting NO bump so far. As a matter of fact, OBAMA
got a 1-point "bump" so far.
Mr.Turnip
(645 posts)7. Sorry I meant he'd gain 1 or 2 points on Obama for a week, not be ahead.
