(10,345 posts)From the Phone Banking I did today, I had to inform many Iowans of the whats and hows so here's what I know.
The actual caucus event that they'll do should last about an hour. We, however, will be waiting on the results so it'll take a bit longer than that.
Add to that the fact that all the districts are going to be done counting at different times and all that.
So yeah. I hope that helps?

Headline: "O'Malley wishes he had 5 million more."
Well don't we all? I certainly could use $5 million. But last I read, O'Malley's campaign was already like 300 or 400k in debt. I hope he's got the money squirreled away somewhere; I hate it when politicians screw over vendors and staff and don't pay off their campaign debts.

(10,345 posts)You know, while I was phone banking for Bernie today, I heard someone tell me their plans for the caucus tonight and I had never thought someone would caucus this way but...
He said that if he gets there, and it looks like O'Malley's supporters just need ONE more person to qualify then he'll leave Bernie's group and help them out.
I guess that's just human compassion. I told him that's fine, but since I'm calling for Bernie I must urge him to stick in Bernie's camp but, he is of course free to do what he wants.
Just thought that was interesting!
