Bernie has it, he speaks the plain language of everyday Americans rather than the carefully calibrated and focus group tested jargon of the average politician. He actually knows how to say yes and no, something most politicians are loath to do.

(90,335 posts)... that has his own bag of bad.
Its different from any of his opponents but it exist
Sanders can throw no stones, no matter how the argument is phrased that he can...

(90,335 posts)... stage and can throw as many stones as he wants...
That's not true
For instance, Sanders voted for the CFMA but then chides Hillary for taking money for working for wall street.
Hell, at least she gets paid... he does it for free...
Neither of them can throw stones, Hillary doesn't have a wall street vote equilvalent to the CFMA screw up that Sanders voted for

(4,377 posts)And that's completely setting aside the small fact that it was during the Clinton administration. The idea that getting tricked into supporting that Clinton backed act means Sanders can't call Hillary out on her Wall St. ties is just nonsense.
I don't know why you bother beating this dead horse. Do you imagine some Sanders supporter is going to change their mind at this stage? You keep bringing it up, we keep showing its nonsense, and around and round we go...

(50,983 posts)It is pure misinformation from one end of the dial to the other. We need to break up the big media conglomerates.

(50,983 posts)Bernie's plan would create massive savings! The quality of health care would actually increase because health care would be free of unnecessary red tape.
Commentators that agree with Bernie are not allowed a voice on corporate media. This is so obvious that it is laughable.
We have the entire developed world as health care examples we could emulate rather than allow health care pirates to control everything as we do now.

And he's real in every sense.
Too bad more people don't connect with him.
He's certainly trying to connect with as many people as possible

(50,986 posts)anyone can realistically state that someone like Ted Cruz is a public servant. Cruz serves his Christ and will burn every bridge in Christendom in the serving.
Yet Republican primary voters may put Trump or Cruz at the top of their ticket. I'm sure they don't care what I think of that, but they are risking the dissolution of their beloved Republican Party if they do. The Trump voters are all anger and no brains. The Cruz voters are so imbued with the Afterworld that they have lodged their heads up their butts in this one.
Bernie is beholden to none of the money that motivates Trump. He is not flogging fundamental Christianity like Cruz. He's talking issues, with a powerful undergirding of financial justice.
From the size of his campaign audiences, I'd say folks are interested in hearing what he has to say.
