Let's say Bernie does not show up to the Unsanctioned Debate becuz of DNC rules & Hillary does....

Does that mean DWS will not allow Hillary to participate in upcoming DNC Sanctioned Debates?

And I quote:
“We’re not changing the process. We’re having six debates,” said Wasserman Schultz, who has been under fire from several Democratic presidential candidates over the debates. “The candidates will be uninvited from subsequent debates if they accept an invitation to anything outside of the six sanctioned debates.”

Anyway the new meme is Bernie is afraid of more debates. Never mind the fact that he has always said he won't participate in an unsanctioned debate unless it was agreed to by all the Democratic candidates. I am not sure if he meant including Vermin Supreme.

What if Bernie is putting DWS into a trap by forcing her to either abandon the rules or to enforce them equally? Does anyone think that if Bernie and O'Malley had hosted a debate in July would DWS have said "oh never mind... we were just kidding about these rules."

The reaction on this board to a candidate agreeing to and sticking to the rules is insane. Some of the same people argued with full throat and venom that:

A) We don't need so many debates
B) People don't watch debates
C) We are protecting the candidates
D) Debates don't change peoples minds

ad nauseum

And now it is about how awful it is that Bernie is waiting for the DNC to abandon terrible debate rules. Standing up to the powerful and forcing them to change the rules back to the rules we have used for debates for many decades rather than the Republican style 'sanctioned onl' IS speaking truth to power.

Her campaign fought very hard to limit the debates and futz with the scheduling of them. Debates are always partially negotiated by the candidates and if you are the front runner you can really screw with them.

Just as Bernie warned us. Too bad the current powers that be don't understand that we can see right through them. This is the year when the people say "Enough". This year we are seeing a rebuke of the entire corrupt system. Bernie is riding that wave because he has played square with everyone. He is true blue.

But I hope they change the format so that each are on stage separately so Sanders can go. I would hate for the unons not to understand and think he dissed them
