CPAC 2012: Where GOP Bigwigs Hang Out With White Supremacists

Robert Vandervoort, head of the English-only group ProEnglish, thanked the Conservative Political Action Committee Thursday for not giving in to "leftist thugs" who criticized its annual conference for featuring so-called white nationalist Peter Brimelow.

"I applaud CPAC for standing up to the leftist thugs who tried to shut down this panel," said Vandervoort at the beginning of the event, which aimed to argue why English should be the official language nationwide.

"The Failure of Multiculturalism: How the Pursuit of Diversity is Weakening the American Identity" drew ire, particularly from a liberal blog (RightWingWatch.org), for including the author and founder of VDARE.com. The Southern Poverty Law Center has called the site a "white nationalist hate group" for hosting white supremacist writers like Kevin MacDonald and including blog posts like "How to Sell a Used Car to African Americans." Brimelow denies the label.

This is too sarcstic even for the "dripping with sarcasm" icon.

Wall Street and or the establishment.

BTW to any lurker or freeper please use "the google" and look up
Sec. Geithner's red history .... working for Henry Kissinger a well
known commie.

I used to contribute to SPLC for years. They quit sending me updates, started asking for money again. I was researching hate groups, especially militia idiots. I told them I would only contribute when they went after some of the most famous of these hate talkers. There were 3 in Wisconsin. Never heard a word back from them. The conservanazis probably bribed them to keep the SPLC's mouth shut.

Today, the conservanazis have nothing more than hate to run on. Let's see who reports on it.

CNN, probably not. NBC, CBS or ABC, NOPE.

I've always considered rush limbugger's show to be nothing but hate mongering.

He's certainly been an official republican toady since bush sr carried hin suitcase into the White House in 1991. Of course, now he, along with grover norclue, is the unofficial repub national leader.

BTW, Thank you for your service to our country.

PEACE!

10. CPAC = National Freak Show...

Every year this circus gets more absurd and amusing...yes, amusing. On the surface it's a highly effective promotional tool...one Democrats should look at doing...as the corporate media feasts off the characters and controversy this thing spins. It's meant to incite...its who CPAC maintains its visibility...who'd want to cover yet another boring "confab"? CPAC provides the red meat and the sizzle.

The downside to this freak show is that it is a freak show. While it revs up the great unhinged it offends the rest of us as the hate and bile flow in torrents and yet again demonstrate how disconnected their corrupt and inept party has become. In years past CPAC was a sideshow but now it's moved to center stage of the clown car demolition derby and that puts it on a collision course with the "establishment" who want their boy Millard annointed and there's a good chance he'll have to dodge tomatoes.

I had to laugh when I heard some corporate shill boast that CPAC will unite the party...yep, it sure will. The Democrats and "independents/moderates"...

I tuned in a bit and listened to a few callers. Then, someone from ACLJ (conservanazi christian law) was speaking later. If you weren't aware of what you just tuned in on, you'd think Planned Parenthood was a evil, powerful organization that is trashing the poor little old conservanazi christians. Give me a break.
This is a sick bunch of people. Conservanazis.

are weak minded spineless idiots. They want everyone to take on THEIR values, and THEIR culture. They want people to lose their sense of identity and culture. Basically they want to one giant monolithic country with no diversity. The truth is diversity truly is a strength. Racists are afraid of other cultures and other races. Why? I'm not sure. But they're afraid.

Now just because I embrace the idea of multiculturalism does that I mean I run out and convert to Islam or live like I'm a traditional Jew or Native American? No, I have my own culture that I love, I'm Germanic and I love learning more about that culture. But I'm not afraid of those who aren't like me, in fact it's a good thing. We can all learn lessons and take the best from multiple cultures and ways of life thriving in America. That's part of what makes this country so beautiful.

The CPAC and the GOP can embrace these bigoted fools if they like but that can't stop the march of time nor prevent their ideas of going the way of the dinosaur.

John Birch only got one year. Gay Republicans were not allowed. But, white nationalists and supremists??? Really?

Oh yeah of course - Trent Lott wrote for the CofCC newsletter for years and George Allen infamously named his kid after the founder of the KKK and posed for at least one picture with the CofCC.
