a Google search brings up the Wikipedia page for the Examiner which states:

The Examiner is owned by Denver billionaire Philip Anschutz.[4] Politico described the paper as "a megaphone for [Anschutz's] right-wing views on taxes, national security and President Barack Obama."[5] The Examiner co-sponsored the Republican presidential debate in Ames, Iowa on August 11, 2011.

Anschutz Cancer Center
Anschutz Pavilion

I'm tired of his name in there - but the hospital is one of the tops, and my hearing aids comes from there (paid for by the State of Colorado).

I noticed that that the only site linking to this was the Oklahoman. Maybe the rest of the country was spared.

I wish I had a bird so that I could line the birdcage with it.

The sad thing is one of my Koolaid drinking Republican friends from Oklahoma will no doubt state this all as fact since it's part of the newspaper.

The only reason I get the DD is I have as very old dog who knows it is her job to get the paper in the morning. I was going to keep getting it till she died, but she is just going to have to find a new line of work. The Gaylord family was bad enough, but they were at least from Oklahoma. Now we get propaganda from an out of state billionaire?

Former Oklahoman here, attesting to the fact that the paper truly is horrible.
