Saving all beings

Hi,

I thought this was such a wonderful example of being a Bodhisattva that I would share it here:

They just stepped off the 100 foot pole and chose to save the bees and what a great example for their little one.

1. Props to Robb!

I confess though, bees scare the crap out of me, I was stung once and that is enough. I also came within a few feet of stepping on a beehive while working in the field. I have a healthy respect for the capabilities of bee hives to inflict harm.

2. This thread is dead, so I don't feel guilty going slightly off topic.

Viruses are living beings, but we don't want to save them, do we?

3. Karmic choices

We gotta live in this world...the vow to save all beings (impossible by the way) helps us remember to acknowledged the choices we make have consequences and the fact that there is no escaping that. We choose to harm the viruses for the sake of other beings. Either we as aware beings accept that and live with that or we create suffering over it. We choose.
