Foxes are a predator species that actually keeps other species healthy. Including actual vermin, as-defined.

Critical cornerstone of the ecosystem. That doesn't seem in character. Odd.

and spent a lot of time on the Elmwood strip when I wasn't busy with school. My favorite local band names from that era were "Ominous Sea Pods" and "Jack Lord's Hair". "Atheistic Vermin" would have been a natural fit on the strip at that time.
