II. Is the pagan who sees the world as it is and finds it beautiful.
III. is the iconoclast who attacks cherished beliefs or institutions. (dictionary online)

In the end, there is nothing but death.

You offer yours, but others might be offered as well.

I: The Christian knows that life if hard and will end, so when the end is near is soothed by what he believes will come after.

II: The Pagan enjoys the moment, seemingly unaware of what will soon come

III: The Iconoclast fights furiously against the inevitable, thinking that he actually is better or stronger and can escape, but he can't.
