Brett Favre Entangled In Scandal: NFL World Reacts
Legendary NFL quarterback Brett Favre continues to be entangled in political scandals in his home state of Mississippi. Favre, who played collegiately at Southern Miss, was linked on Monday to a scandal involving former Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant.
Mississippi Today reported on Monday that there could be connections between Favre, a drug company he invested in, public welfare funds and Bryant.
Favre reportedly hoped to make a significant amount of money from the investment. According to the report, Favre might have tried to leverage his relationship with Bryant.
“It’s 3rd and long and we need you to make it happen!!” Favre allegedly texted Bryant in late 2018. “I will open a hole,” Bryant allegedly replied.
