Someone's not going to be on the team next week..... As a Pat's fan, this was an NFL WTF moment.

You might never see that happen again either, because it’s a textbook example of what NOT to do with 3 seconds left with a tie in regulation.

5. That was bad coaching/preparation/communication, IMO, b/c it wasn't 1 bad decision by 1 player.

The thing you must. not. do. in that situation is turn over a live ball. Obviously scoring is best, but getting tackled is fine. You're tied, not behind. Get tackled, go to overtime. This yakety sax run around with multiple laterals shit is for when you are behind and time has expired during the play. For the very reason seen on that play -- a turnover is likely.

The fact that both the RB and WR made backwards passes indicates it wasn't just one rogue player making a boneheaded decision. Is it possible for two players to have the same brain fart at the same time despite impeccable preparation? I guess so, but it seems unlikely if the communication was clear and thorough.

9. Yes! And the NFL shouldn't use small screen tablets for replays ...

Player was clearly out of bounds. TD would not have been upheld if there was a dedicated replay ref IN A BOOTH, ON SITE, reviewing the play on anything besides a mobile device. Just ridiculous … a game was decided because of a corporate sponsor.
