The Dodgers are giving it to the Padres this series
The Padres win the Juan Soto sweepstakes, then they take an 8-1 loss last night at Dodger Stadium, now they’re losing 7-3. I saw Max Muncy’s home run to take a 3-2 game to a 5-3 game. Now it’s 7-3 and just left two more on in the eighth.
I know the regular season’s not everything, but they’re going to have to find a way to get past the Dodgers somehow.
Given what went down earlier in Busch Stadium, maybe AJ Preller should’ve tried to trade for Jordan Montgomery instead, given how potent this Dodger offense has looked.
