Anybody else having volume issues on espn2?

The last two mornings the volume has been very low - I can barely hear it at full volume, yet the commercials are just fine.

All other stations are normal so I don't see how it could be my set.

with volume, I did have some static/distortion this morning. I notice with the tv stations I have, that some channels are normal, some are very low(like Cspan channels), and some are very damn loud(usually my local channels).

I figured it was either espn's problem or my cable provider. At least it doesn't make any sense to me that the programming volume would be so subdued and commercials normal on just one channel to be a problem with the set. Assuming you don't have Baja Broadband for a cable provider, of course.

I'm hearing a "static-ish" low level distortion on ESPN2. Only channel i hear it on. Might be a sattelite issue, since i seriously doubt we're on the same cable head end.

Back to normal this morning.

I never thought of the satellite link. I don't know anything about the technicalities of broadcasting. I just didn't want a problem with my one year old TV.

(I'm increasingly convinced that all modern electronics and appliances are simply crap. )
