Johnny Manziel's CFL debut a DISASTER!

His team lost 50-11 on Friday night.

Manziel lasted three quarters before getting pulled. He was 11-for-20 for 104 yards and threw four interceptions. Ouch!

1. He was with his new team only two weeks

And was playing against his old team which he practiced extensively with. Not to say he will make it, but he was set up for failure.

he'll do alright (see Texas A&M record).

Unfortunately for him, the pros are college All-Star teams - everyone is bigger and better!

I'm afraid his Glory Days are over, as the song says.

7. And Only One Of Those Interceptions. . .

. . .was on the receiver. (Hit him right in the hands and bounced into the DB's cradle.)

There were 4 just terrible interceptions. On one of them, he had a check down with NOBODY between them and nobody behind the RB and he lofted one up 40 yards that the DB caught like a punt.

I know the speed of the game is quite high in the CFL, but that was a lot of bad decision making.

8. Johnny Football looked better last night

Manziel went 16-for-26 passing for 168 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. His team still lost 24-17.
