Related: About this forumKevin Durant would 'love to own' NFL team, Potatoes top list
http://my.xfinity.com/articles/sports-nba/20151016/durant.nfl.redskins/Kevin Durant said he would love to own an NFL team one day. And if he had his choice, he would pick his beloved hometown Washington (redacted)s.
The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar is a huge football fan, and his interest apparently goes beyond the action on the gridiron. He spoke of his post-NBA career aspirations during an appearance on Matthew Berrys Fantasy Focus podcast on Thursday.
Its a passion of mine. Id definitely love to own a team hopefully one of these years towards the end of my career, Durant said via The Oklahoman. So I follow it a lot....
My first priority would be the Washington (redacted)s, even if it was just a small percentage, he said. I just want to get involved. Growing up five minutes away from the stadium and always being a fan, I have a (redacted)s tattoo on my forearm. So I feel part of the team so much, so to be an owner and all the way entrenched with the team would be cool.

Maybe he'd change the damn name? And suck far less than Snyder?

He's a beloved son of the area and a long time fan. But unlike Snyder I know he'd be willing to hire football people and let them run the franchise like Cooke did

Then he'd have to change his tattoo, too.
