I think Manning is great, but who the hell would want to START a franchise with a soon to be 38 year old QB? By the time the rest of the team gets up to speed (3 to 4 years), he might be retired. I wouldn't pick Brady either. Even Rodgers might be too old at 30. I'd take Luck.

They can relate to the folksy, rather lumpy looking Manning. Hell, he's a "man's man". Brady? Too elitist. Too good looking, married to the world's top model, and in a world that's hardly tolerant, too "metrosexual".

Oh, and both Manning and Brady are clearly bright, but Manning doesn't come off as obviously so.
