Singer Reveals ‘Black Lives Matter’ Shirt, Kneels During National Anthem

The Miami Heat didn’t know that Denasia Lawrence would protest during her big moment.

A singer knelt while performing the national anthem at a Miami Heat basketball game on Friday and opened her jacket to reveal a shirt that read “Black Lives Matter,” a variation on a protest that has punctuated many U.S. sporting events since the summer.

black brown or others in mind, yet she sure belted it out for BLM. I have not been able to find a clear cut of her singing, only snips. She has one powerful voice, heaven.
