The wireless shacks on ocean going vessels back then were known as Marconi shacks. One of the two young men who worked the Marconi shack on Titanic survived.

Even better factoid. Marconi himself went down to the docks when the survivors of Titanic arrived, brought by the Carpathia.

That one piece of information, so far as I am concerned, outweighs everything in the movie Titanic. Reality is often far better than fiction.
