a trained military with sophisticated weapons? You even state that the "well regulated malitia" part of the second amendment is not important.
I don't by the argument for the above reasons.

By this "logic" every American has the right to own a nuclear weapon. If a people is to protect istself from the government, the people must have superior strength. Our gov't has nukes so in order to be truly free, I need nukes.

Not a logical policy in a civilized society. Somalia, maybe. Lebanon, maybe. US, no.

No part of the Second Amendment guarantees anonymity in gun ownership.
