Related: About this forumTiger has finally shown up from the deep freeze.
I was away at my brothers most of yesterday and today before I went today, I broke a thin layer of ice off of his escape tunnel. Called and called him just before dark. Soon he came up on the porch even spoke to me and let me pet him. I can relax now:

(5,704 posts)Stray who adopted us (sort of) two years ago when we moved here. we call him Tiger because of his magnificent stripes, but no clue if he ever had another name.
He will come in the house for food and attention, but insists on going back out, including two nights ago when it was 19 degrees here. He has no sense at all, but he's a great cat, all 15 pounds.
