geez i love this canary.

bought a little green canary mostly to entertain the parrots and keep the screaming down. the little bugger just sings like a maniac. what a glorious sound. can't help smiling.

2. they do enjoy his singing, and tweet along

he does break up the screaming of the lory. she does try to imitate a little and i think with time will pick up more of the notes, at least.

gender games, tho. the parrots are both female, and mr little man thought that even though she is 20 times his size, it was ok to take on the grey. she bit off one of his toes!! his is healing well, and getting along fine without it. but...... oy.

we're a little more careful now, covering him up with the big girls are out. seems fine. i had him out on the porch, but it got cold. the budgies are out there and fine, but i missed his singing. so i brought him in. i knew she was after him, but thought he was safe in his cage. but no. boys....
