Related: About this forummy little darling was tested for pemphigus foliacerus
and we are waiting for the results.
we thought it was a flea allergy infection last summer, and after a few weeks of antibiotic baths, daily mousse, and antibiotics it seemed to clear.
came back about 2 weeks ago, the vet found not a flea on her. therefore the tests.
i really hate to pull the plug, as she is a sweet little cat who sleeps in my arms. does anyone have experience with this?

(5,835 posts)it might not be this pemphigeous.

(26,496 posts)Wait for the results. The only real death sentences are some Cancers, Kidney, CHF or some viruses... even then you usually have time and can work out a managed program to maximize quality of life. And by time, you may even be talking years...

(34,606 posts)He responded well to the treatments. Bud was a mellow cat, so pilling him was not awful. How is your baby about getting pills?

(5,835 posts)her antibiotic is in a syringe and with a little bit of work i can get her to take most of it.
glad that friends cat responded well. that is what i'm worried about.
