(2,850 posts)My family was coming home from a vacation in Alaska. We stopped at a roadside tourist place, had a museum of old things and some animals in cages out back. They sold peanuts to feed some animals, but we had blackberries in the car we had picked at the campground we had stayed at the night before. My sister and I would feed the Spider Monkey, that could extend all 4 feet to accept them while stabilizing himself with his tail. My cousin put the berries on the bears tongue, which he would extend with his nose pressed between the bars of his cage. She was a little on the wild side.
The songs I recall from the radio on that trip are "Lipstick on your Collar" and "Charley Brown".
