Cats and puppies

My puppy has suddenly realized that the cats...might...play with her!!!! She lies in front of one and wags and wags and wags.

The cat, having realized that the puppy is now larger than her, and knowing pup is cautious of her hisses, just sits and watches.

Eventually pup gets tired of wagging at 1 cat and tries another.

Lays down and wags and wags and wags. Head down, belly on floor, wag wag wag wag wag wag wag. Please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze play with me?

On the other hand, they all like to chase the laser pointer, being careful to take turns depending on who it is closest to.

Indeed. Whoever it is closest to runs out, bats at it, then retreats to watch again. uppityperson Feb 2012 #2

Our big old dog only chased a laser once, then noticed us laughing, dropped his ears and went in the other room. So far the cats and puppy share.
