Six months after fire, dogs ready for new Manchester facility

Squee here

Six months ago, in Manchester, England, a dreadful arson attack leveled the Dogs' Home shelter. A shocked public raised millions to fund a replacement building. Now, a temporary location is ready to take in adoptable pooches.

From the article:

A temporary adoption facility will open its doors whilst work continues on new, state-of-the-art, kennels.

Steve Mapley, the home’s manager, said: “The re-build of Manchester Dogs’ Home is going well, and we hope to have the first dogs available for adoption back at the site by Easter, when we will have a temporary adoption centre once again.
