The recipe for toast tells you to slice the bread 1/2" thick. As I recall, it goes into great detail on how to clean a chicken.

It looks a lot like this one.

recipes, but that was immediately followed by remembering Serious Eats' instructions on how to cook a pig's head. Guess that's what happens when a busy site's covered the first couple thousand topics. 2018 or not, the recipe starts with one pig's head.

The picture in the recipe above it at the link made me think that a donut wouldn't be a bad base for strawberry shortcake. Have to try that next strawberry season.

And actually, the slicing donuts in half, crisping the slices and serve with jams, jellies, etc. doesn't sound all too bad.

I save my high school Home Economics book, and still use a few recipes from it!

From a 1974 Texas Junior League Cookbook

Tuna Chili

8 oz. tomato juice
2 Tb. Williams chili mix
1 can tuna
Garlic powder to taste
1 can mushrooms
Minced onion

Mix together well and simmer for 10 minutes.
