Cod, shrimp, and clams.

The RG is making this wonderful corn/potato combo and it will go over some buttermilk biscuits with the seafood and vegetables on top. The vegetables are zucchini sliced in ribbons and braised leeks. Oh, also, there is some type of goat cheese mixed in there.

It's quite the production.

I am making a plain arugula rustica salad. This is a particularly pungent type of arugula that grows wild in Italy. I have it growing all over the place here.

For dessert, about 1 Tablespoon of Talenti caramel sea salt ice cream. (We have cut back out sugar consumption considerably, but not 100% )

Oh, and the wine! Two bottles red, one white.

Our lawyer friend is coming over, so should be fun.

and also picked a double handful of strawberries, so I'm up to close to a pint already for the first 4 days of the season. Hoping I can top last year's 3 gallons of strawberries season. So far, only had to pitch a couple of berries for slug damage.

Reminds me, I need to go out and water. The cucumbers, pumpkin and garlic look positively parched.

Someone gave me a pkg of Ina Garten's frozen boeuf bourguignon. So we cooked it up tonight. It smelled good, and it was tasty, although not much meat.

Then I looked at the package. YIKES! That much sodium in a serving.

We rarely eat any frozen dishes, so I am sure not used to that kind of content.
