Appliance covers

Do you ever use appliance covers?

I got my toaster out the other day after not using it for months. It was so dusty that I had to clean it up before I could use it. I remember having blender and toaster covers years ago but they no longer seem to be in fashion. Have you seen them in use or on sale anywhere?
Am I hopelessly old-fashioned? I prefer to think of myself as work-adverse and would prefer to remove a cover than clean the dust off appliances.

I stopped because it was just another thing to find a place for when I wanted to use the appliance it was covering.

Besides, it needs cleaning too, to look good.

I guess it depends on how much space you have for storage of the cover, and how strongly you feel about keeping it clean.

maybe when I was growing up? Would really like a teapot cozy for my short and stout tea pot, but that's about all.

I think I am going order the blue/white one from Thistledown. There are all sorts of other colors and from other vendors (just google it).

I keep a crock pot out on a porch as it just doesn't fit anywhere in the kitchen, so I put one of those huge green fresh vegetable bags from the produce dept over it. ugly, but then I can toss it when I use the crock pot.
